Homecoming and Home Sweet Home!!!

Am finally coming back to the sunny (some say rainy) shores of Singapore and 2 weeks just went by in a flash.. Its absolutely fantastic to be back home with family and friends and being back definitely makes me really appreciate what I've always taken for granted.. Being uprooted and away from home has been an emotionally and physically challenging journey so far and I would not recommend or wish it upon anyone.. Without sounding like a broken record, I would like to start by saying that I wish that there is a warning to Singaporeans, or should I say me: That there is no place like SE Asia for food.. Or maybe I am just being a typical S'porean CHINESE!!! For the record, I ate wantan mee 3 times in 2 days and I think I even outdid myself this time.. Hahahaha ;p

Food aside, it has honestly not been easy.. I know that shit happens all the time and I just feel that a lot of it happens to me all at the same time.. Seems like my escape plan from a 'Hong Kong drama series' life has not exactly been working out here in Dubai and its just been trials and tribulations from Day 1.. Just to give a taste of my yet to be named series, season 2 episode 7: Got molested whilst on a desert safari trip by the tour operator, went to report the incident to the police and was consequently threatened with a charge against me for consuming alcohol which was, by the way, served and sold in the desert safari camp. I will not even go into the gory details of the whole incident and the horrific ordeal of just making a police report, though it would make for some terrific scenes for the yet to be named series.. Well, having repeated this story like 500 times over this past 2 weeks, I thought I should immortalise this story as it is a really good one.. Wonderful material for the show or maybe even a book titled: Just a day in the life of Tian! (Certain scenes & names will be changed to protect the real identities of the characters involved) Hahahahaha ;p

Well, having talked about all the drama, I would have to say that everything happens for a reason and it had made me the person I am today..  Life is a journey, it could be long or could be short but lets make it a good one.. ;p T
