Week 2... And still alive..

Phew, 1st exam of the training is out of the way and did quite well for the theory.. 100% to be exact and wouldn't expect anything less from myself.. Hahahaha. As for the practical, we learned about opening & closing the doors, turbulence and anticipated/unanticipated emergencies. Just let me say that being cabin crew is not as brain dead as I imagined and definitely not just chicken or fish, coffee or tea... Am extremely stressed out by the amount of workload and am like studying for 3 hours everyday, doing homework and revising. Lets just say that I have not studied so hard for a long long while..

On a seperate note, something interesting that I would like to bring up.. Amazingly, I feel very discriminated in training college. My instructors are very racist. They pick on the Asian students but are blatantly extremely friendly towards the Caucasians. It makes me so angry! Feel like such a 2nd class citizen here.. NEVER had such an issue back at home.. Doesn't help that they think that all Asian looking girls are from CHINA and have a poor command of English.. AM going to TOP my class and hopefully the whole cohort to show them what we Singaporeans are made of.. Hahahahaha ;p

On a lighter note, am so deprived of my noodles soup, pork balls amongst 500 million things I am missing. Am not able to get a decent bowl of noodles and its driving me absolutely nuts.. Am also not able to get any alcohol cos have yet to obtain a liquor license. The group of us did went out on Thursday to the Irish Village for beers and some club frequented by EK crew last week but there's nothing like a glass of wine to unwind after dinner at home.. Especially after a hard day in school.. So, can't wait to get all the silly documentation done for the liquor license, start flying and load up on booze.. Hahahahaha. 4 more weeks of training to go and hopefully can go back to the friendly island of Singapore very soon..
